Live authentically. Love fiercely. Stay inspired.-4Welcome! My name is Chelsea Hetzel and I am the founder of Inspiration Indulgence, a personal style & self-help blog inspiring you to live your best self. It truly means the world to me that you are here, reading my words, and visiting my space. You all have already changed my life so much in many ways that you will never even know.

About Inspiration Indulgence

Inspiration Indulgence was born in 2014 as a lifestyle blog, and has transformed into a self-help & style blog throughout the years. As a graduate student pursuing her Master’s degree in counseling, I found that style blogging wasn’t fulfilling for me without adding personal meaning and authenticity behind each post. My goal with each of my posts is to integrate my counseling background with my passion for style to inspire confidence, uniqueness, & self-love.

My Story + How I Define Style

Even as a little girl in grade school, I used to lay out my outfits the night before, and sometimes, I couldn’t sleep at night because I was so excited to wear my outfit to school the next day. In high school, I can still remember some of my favorite outfits that I adored and often received compliments on (never forget #BootsWithTheFur). When I headed off to college, I was disappointed in that my university was largely fitness-focused, so many of my classmates wore sweats to class. I felt like I was constantly standing out, and never owned my confidence and individuality. In addition, I used clothes as a mechanism to impress others (particularly guys) and never wore items simply to make MYSELF happy.

Now as a 25-year old living in northeast Wisconsin, my self-esteem has improved double fold, and I am in a much better place. Even though Wisconsin is not the fashion capital of the world, I take pride in my work with Inspiration Indulgence and enjoy sharing my style with my family and friends. I may not be an NYC girl or an LA blogger, but I stand out because I am making waves in the fashion industry in the Midwest. I’m a Midwestern gal, and proud of it!

Style is so much more to me than simply buying clothes, simply because there is so much more to me than materialism. To me, style is the ultimate freedom of expression. Style is courage. Style is making a statement. Style is finding yourself and being confident in doing so. Style is powerful, individualized, and has no rules. Style has no limits.

I am unique from other fashion bloggers in that I have no signature style. I truly love wearing many different “hats” (no pun intended) when it comes to my style game. I enjoy getting creative with my closet and am very unpredictable when it comes to getting dressed for the day. You will most likely see me wearing something with a bohemian flair, but don’t be surprised if you see me wearing a classy business casual classy chic dress the next day.

Ultimately, I hope you leave this space feeling fearless; to live a confident, self-aware, and intentional lifestyle. I hope this space encourages you to be kinder to yourself, inspires you to embrace what makes you unique, and leaves you feeling loved and fulfilled.

You are SO loved and SO worthy.

Now tell me, what inspires YOU?Live authentically. Love fiercely. Stay inspired.-5_____________________________________________________________________

  • Chelsea;
Do you know how much I am happy to found your blog; while visiting my friend REBECCA’s blog, I found your comment, your comment is so wonderful and based on that comment I decided to visit your blog and once I visited; what I found……
Wonderful blog…..Yes, First of all let me congratulate you for creating this wonderful blog, design, layout, color combination, style, selection of theme everything creates a positive vibe, no doubt about it.
Second; I like the name of your blog.
Third, I like your this well written page, where you have not shown your creative way to write the bio but without writing too much about yourself you have presented yourself in most wonderful manner.
And last but not least, there are few points or traits of your personality that compel me to write to you.
“Ultimately, my hope is that my writing inspires you to try something new, causes you to look at life in a different lens, motivates you to make a positive change in your life, and/or shapes you into a more well-rounded individual.”
“I am a lover of simplicity, design, children, food, culture, big cities, dirt roads, style, war movies, uniqueness, nature, family, true friendship, and love”.
“I love feedback! Connecting with you is my favorite part of this experience, and your feedback truly means the world to me. Please feel free to share your favorite posts and get the word out. Comments? Suggestions? I am an open book.”
These are the few common similarities we have, so, what I suggest you whenever you have spare time visit my blog and read my some of the post and if you feel, I am worth of your friendship, please leave your comment on my any post, that will be the first step towards our lasting longer blogging friendship.
