Community Events That Give Back | Bay Park Square Mall |

It’s no secret that A.) I’m obsessed with shopping and B.) I love Bay Park Square Mall! It’s the ONLY place that I shop and the only place I purchase all of the adorable clothes that I wear with this blog! Most non-Midwesterners would be surprised to know that Green Bay is actually overall a pretty small community (it’s the smallest U.S. city that hosts an NFL team at only approximately 104,000 people!) I always feel a sense of tight-knit community when I’m out and about in Green Bay. Because I am passionate about giving back to my community, I wanted to share with you guys two awesome community events coming up at Bay Park Square Mall!

Community Events That Give Back | Bay Park Square Mall |

Calling all moms!

The first event is Indulge, a Mom’s Night Out Event, taking place on Thursday, May 11th from 5-7pm. There will be live music, wine and beer sampling, special offers, and prize giveaways (including a Michael Kors purse!) I know a lot of moms- especially new moms- feel isolated in their roles because they are so busy trying to balance the new role of motherhood plus all of the other crazy events going on in their lives. They rarely have time for themselves to just relax, have fun, and connect with other moms! This is a great event for those awesome moms to connect, sample some amazing food, and let down their hair! The best part about this event is that proceeds will benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation, dedicated to investing in breast cancer research and lifesaving community programs, and the House of Hope, a shelter that cares for pregnant, homeless 18-24-year-old women.

Are you guys into yoga?!

The second event hosted at Bay Park Square that I’m excited to share with y’all is Project Om. Join us on Saturday, May 13th at 9:30 AM for a morning full of yoga and relaxation hosted by Manduka, the industry’s most trusted yoga brand, to host the world’s largest yoga class of one million bodies strong to benefit Susan G. Komen.

This class is designed for all levels, focusing primarily on standing and balance poses to help ground and reduce stress. You don’t need to bring anything, it’s the perfect opportunity for first time yoga participants! Participants who register online for this event and donate at least $10 are eligible to receive a Bay Park Square Mall discount card offering up to 25% off a single item at the participating retailers: Apricot Lane Boutique, Christopher and Banks, Claire’s, Eyebrow Envy, Payless Shoes, Rue 21,Yankee Candle; and a 15% off discount at Aeropostale, Buckle, Chics-n-Dip, Famous Footwear, Francescas, Maurices, Proactic, and Spencer’s.  Present your proofs of registration and donation at check-in or donate onsite to redeem. You can register HERE to reserve your spot!

You can purchase the discount card at the Bay Park Square Mall Management office, which is located in the Shopko Wing, near the Play Area and down the hallway to the left. It is open Monday-Saturday 10 AM to 5 PM and Sunday at Noon to 5 PM. Or, you can purchase the discount card online at this link!

So what better way to hang out with friends and potentially meet new friends than doing some yoga at the mall?! I’ve been expressing to you all lately that I’ve really been trying to make more time for myself to unwind and take care of my body. If you have a similar goal to me, this is an excellent event that would benefit both you AND those who are battling breast cancer.

Are you able to attend any of these awesome events? Leave me a comment below! And I hope to see you at the events at Bay Park Square! :)
