I was given free product from Dainty Hooligan to supplement this post. All opinions are my own!
Happy hump day babes!
I don’t know about y’all, but by Wednesday, I hit my mid-week slump and need a jolt. I’m all about productivity but sometimes, it’s hard when you’re so tired out from the crazy week! Today I thought I would share a fun on-the-go running errands OOTD. I have found that I usually cannot be productive if I look like a slob. Anyone else feel that when they are dressed kinda cute, you are able to accomplish more?
Even though I live in a small town and sometimes it’s super tempting to just throw on a pair of yoga pants, I always feel better about myself when I dress cute. Maybe it’s a confidence thing, I don’t know! A typical day of errands for me usually looks like frantically running to the grocery store after my internship to pick something up….. it seems like we are ALWAYS out of A.) Coffee creamer or B.) Toilet paper or C.) Tampons. All the necessities. lol.
For this OOTD I’m rocking this super cute burgundy sweater from Dainty Hooligan. Guys. How adorbs is the open back of this? I’m seriously obsessed. I paired it with an old pair of homemade distressed jeans from Buckle and an angled gold necklace from Tilly’s.
Here are some quick ways to spice up a “running errands” OOTD:
1.) Throw your hair up in a messy half bun. Instant cuteness!
2.) Red lipstick- you can never go wrong!
3.) Grab a cute tote. Mine is from Target!
4.) Slip on a cozy open-back sweater- I love wearing mine a size larger than what I normally wear for a cozy, relaxed touch!
5.) Wear cute flat-toed boots. Nothing with heels, obvs, but boots make the look more put together.
Oh, and did I mention that I’m totally not wearing makeup minus the lipstick? Thank God for cute sunnies! 😉 I’m all about simplicity with a hint of sass, peeps.
What do you usually wear when you’re on the go? Leave me a comment below!
