Sorry guys, it’s another 70’s style post.
Sigh. The other day I had one of those quick-run-to-Target-to-buy-one-thing-and-leave-with-half-the-store kinda moments. (Let’s be real, this happens every time I go to Target.) When I saw this dress for only $24.99, I just couldn’t resist. Guys, I was WEAK. I love the retro-styled floral and the neck line, and how the dress flows so fluidly. To be honest, sometimes I feel like the cut makes me look a little boxy, but I’d rather wear a flowy dress than something skin tight. I paired it with knee length boots and my pair of rainbow aviators. I am actually quite obsessed with these rad sunnies; I’ve already been through three of the exact same pairs because I lose them so much.
I sincerely don’t think I’ll ever get sick of the 70s trend. I’ll probably be in my 80’s and still rocking my bell bottoms at the nursing home. I guess we all just have to embrace what makes us unique, right?! My daily inspiration: Don’t ever let anyone dull your sparkle, friends. Life is so much cooler when you just “do you” and disregard what other people think. Why blend in when you were born to stand out?
Out of curiosity, I’d love to hear- what is one thing you wear now that you could see yourself wearing for the rest of your life?!
