Exploring Yosemite National Park | InspirationIndulgence.com

Hey guys!

This is my 4th post about our current 5,500+ mile West Coast road trip.

To read where else I’ve been so far, catch up here:
Glacier National Park
Seattle
San Francisco

As a continuing celebration of the 100th anniversary of our National Parks, I wanted to get this post out as soon as I could!

I’m currently blogging this in a hotel in St. Cloud, MN, and will be arriving home tomorrow afternoon. I’m pretty worn out at the moment (partly because I’m in a junk food coma from all the gross gas station to-go snacks) but that does not stop me from sharing my adventures from you!

As one can guess, Yosemite most certainly did not disappoint. In fact, it was much cooler than I had imagined. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but after just recently visiting Glacier National Park, the stakes were pretty high! As always, these photos just don’t do justice.

I also want to note that these photos are BARELY edited. The sunset was incredible, and the clouds made for perfect photography. Sometimes when you sit in front of incredible landscapes like this, it truly is hard to take in it all. I kept feeling like I was in a fairy tale, like this wasn’t real.

We camped in Yosemite for one night only, but it was plenty of time to get the full experience of the beauty around us. After exploring, it was another night of eating Wheat Thins and Dr. Pepper under lantern while reading books. #TheLife. I swear, I probably gained a good 10 lbs so far on this trip, but oh well. I declare that calories don’t count on vacation. Ironically, I’m reading It Starts with Food about the Whole 30 Challenge. LOL.

Once again, I want to offer my gratitude for you peeps following me along on my adventures. I know so many of you follow my blog solely for the self-help and fashion posts, so your support means a lot to me when I vary my niche! Traveling will always be a deep part of who I am, and I love sharing that version of myself with y’all.

Have you ever been to Yosemite? Leave me a comment below!

P.S. And because I know you are all dying to know, yes, that is indeed Slash on Trevor’s t-shirt. 😉
