I’ve had an obsession with Seattle ever since I started Grey’s Anatomy. I know, I know. By now you guys are probably sick of my Grey’s references, but as you can see, I really am obsessed with the show. Seattle has always seemed so unique and sophisticated to me, and has been on my bucket list forever. Thus, I could hardly wait to hit up Seattle on our roadtrip.
I should probably back up here. In case you haven’t been following along, I’m currently MIA on a 17 day cross-country road trip.

Let’s dive into Seattle, shall we?
We stayed at the absolutely stunning Fairmont Olympic, and it was honestly the best stay I’ve ever had in my entire life. Not only was the hotel itself beautiful and located right downtown in the heart of Seattle, but the guest experience was superb. The Fairmont Olympic team did everything possible to make our stay completely comfortable. Built in 1924, Fairmont is known as Seattle’s most historical hotel, and was in fact just recently renovated. It offers over 28,000 square feet that is perfect for meeting space, which is why it is a popular destination for elegant weddings. (BRB- currently changing our current venue.)
Our room was beautiful, the lobby was impeccable, and we were delivered homemade cookies to our door. I REPEAT. WE WERE DELIVERED HOMEMADE COOKIES TO OUR DOOR!!!!!! Don’t even get me started on those gorgeous flowers in the lobby, UGH a blogger’s dream. Oh and can we please talk about the FOOD here? Fairmont Olympic boasts a world-renowned chef who served us the most delicious broccoli bites and duck fries while we were enjoying some cocktails during Happy Hour. #Winning. Thanks again to the entire Fairmont team for such a pleasant experience!
Also, how amazing is this!! I had the opportunity to meet up with the darling Kusum from Sveeteskapes.com for coffee in the morning! So amazing meeting blogging friends/readers in real life! She’s such a sweetie, and I really enjoyed my conversation & chai tea latte with her! She basically convinced me to move to Seattle.
In our short two nights in Seattle, we packed a lot of great stuff in! We first visited Pike’s Place Market, which is a world-famous outdoor market that boasts $5 flower bouquets, fresh fruit & veggies, yummy baked goods, fresh seafood, and more. We enjoyed happy hour while overlooking Pike’s Market. As you can see, we REALLY enjoyed happy hour. LOL.
We also toured the Space Needle and checked out the city skyline with Mt. Rainier peeking out at Kerry Park.
GUYS!!!!! You are SO going to love this part! You know the amazing Molly from StyleMissMolly.com? We totally hung out!!! I guess I’m just a freakin social butterfly! We were blessed enough to be invited onto her friend’s boat, which gave us an insider’s view of the city at night.
There was also not a shortage of tequila. Ugh, it was such an amazing time! Again, I am so grateful for the opportunity to meet people that I’ve only ever known online in real life! She is totally my soul sister from another mister. (We tried so hard to get a nice photo but it just wasn’t happening on a moving boat- sorry for the blurriness!!)
Guys, Seattle was everything I’ve ever dreamed of and more. Unfortunately, I didn’t happen to run into Meredith or McDreamy, but it was still a great time. I would move there in a heartbeat! What mostly capped off an amazing time was our stay at Fairmont Olympic. Seriously, I’d recommend that beautiful place to anyone. It’s just not comparable to anything else.
That’s it for now. Stay tuned for my next adventure on the trip. In the meantime, follow along on Instagram my travels, and add me on Snapchat to join the party! (InspoIndulgence).
I was given a free stay at Fairmont Olympic to give a hotel review. I promise that I am always completely honest with my sponsorships and endorsements! Thank you for supporting brands and businesses that make Inspiration Indulgence possible!
