I thought I would start off your week with a fun post that hopefully helps you start your day off on the right note. For me, I can usually tell how my day is going to go by how productive and peaceful my mornings are! Early mornings are my favorite time of the day; it’s where I usually have “me” time and make a conscious decision if I am going to run my day, or let my day run me. That being said, I try to start my day off positively and inspired.

I have compiled a list of 50 different ways to jumpstart your day. Read on!

  • Drink coffee a strong cup of coffee or tea
  • Read for 10 minutes something inspirational after you hit the snooze button (I recommend The Happiness Project  by Gretchen Rubin)
  • Take a walk or go for a run when the sun rises
  • Eat a healthy breakfast
  • Do a load of laundry before you go to work
  • Text someone you love out of the blue and tell them to have a good day
  • Dress up in something that makes you feel confident
  • Tackle some of your emails before going into the office or going to school
  • Do yoga in the morning
  • Avoid social media
  • Do a crossword puzzle
  • Draw the blinds and let the sun in your home
  • Take a walk through your garden
  • Put some fresh flowers on your table
  • Meditate
  • Say something positive to yourself in the mirror
  • Listen to music while you shower
  • Surprise your workplace and bring donuts for your coworkers
  • Pray for someone in need
  • Tell the gas station clerk to have a wonderful day
  • Visit your grandma
  • Volunteer at a shelter
  • Lift weights
  • Write in a journal 5 things you are thankful for (Totally loving THIS cute journal right now)
  • Cuddle with your partner before you have to get up
  • Go out for breakfast
  • Rearrange your living room
  • Go out for coffee with a friend
  • Get ahead of your syllabus
  • Create a to-do list to plan your day (this Bloom to-do list pad is AWESOME and will help you stay SO organized)
  • Paint your nails
  • Put dinner in the Crock-Pot
  • Clean out your fridge
  • Take a long, hot shower
  • Watch one episode of a show you are currently watching
  • Pack a healthy lunch
  • Avoid hitting the snooze button
  • Clean out your purse
  • Write down your weekly goals
  • Curl your hair
  • Clean your home for something nice to come home to
  • Unsubscribe from things you don’t read
  • Make a schedule to effectively manage your time
  • Compliment someone
  • Send someone a thank you card
  • Organize your closet
  • Wash your car
  • Drink a glass of refreshing, cold ice water
  • De clutter your space
  • Delete apps you don’t need

      I literally can’t live without my coffee. If I skip my coffee before driving to work or class, it’s going to be a long day!
